Wuthering Heights

Die Anzahl der Versionen des musikalischen Originals (Kate Bush) dieses Monologs, welchen Cathy aus der gleichnamigen literarischen Vorlage von Emily Brontë an ihren Heathcliff richtet, steht der Anzahl der existierenden filmischen Versionen wahrscheinlich in nichts nach.

Zwei der Varianten sollen hier gezeigt werden.
Die erste, ziemlich originalgetreue Kopie kommt von der grossartigen, mittlerweile ihrer angenehmen Schuechternheit etwas entwachsenen neuseelaendischen Saengerin Hayley Westenra (Live, 2004):
